Because AJ is also a master orator, he was able to win a $10,000 Business Pitch competition given by 100 Urban Entrepreneurs, beating out over 400 competitors and having his pitch deemed “The Perfect Pitch.” However, at the heart of AJ’s business is the passion to establish and grow relationships.
The Atlanta Fish Fry began as an event with 60 people in his front yard at his home in Atlanta, and, with the help of social media and AJ’s passion, it grew to a city-wide festival with over 7,000 combined total attendees.
One might think a man as busy as AJ would not have any “down time,” but that’s not the case. AJ’s hobbies include screaming “WHODAT!” for the New Orleans Saints, spending time with his family, reading self-improvement books, updating his website www.anthonyjoiner.com, listening to podcasts, helping clients create new marketing ideas, and loving Louisiana food.
But most of all, he takes pride in being a small-town kid, living his big city dreams and in his words, “Owes it all to his upbringing by his Mother and Grandmother.”
