J. Pate

J. Pate is the self-proclaimed “World’s Leading Introvert.” Her passions are the 4 C’s – Corny jokes, Coffee, Ckids (Hey, it works), and Coding! While others may find coding boring, J. finds it exhilarating. One of her favorite sayings is, “Code is life.” In fact, she’s been doing it since she was 19. Yes, she is a nerd extraordinaire.

J. is also a serial entrepreneur who has developed a number of software applications. Some were real stinkers, but others proved to be wildly successfully. She sold her first software app for nearly $500,000. J. is currently working on the next-generation presentation program that will knock your socks off. She also has a successful consulting business working with tech start-ups, small businesses, and one of the largest retail chains in the world. So, yeah, she’s kind of a big deal.

When she’s not coding, J. is an all-around SuperShero. Her many identities include mom, wife, geek, minister, and speaker, not necessarily in that order. One of her main goals is to show little brown girls that they can be wildly successful in life without trying to be famous.
